People get involved in our programming in all types of ways. Some find out about us through family and friends, community calendars, word-of-mouth, searching the Internet, or physician referral. A referral is not necessary to participate in our cancer support programs, but it does help get someone connected with us in an easy way.
If you are a physician, nurse, or social worker working with people affected by cancer, you can directly refer that patient by either completing our on-line Cancer Support Referral Form or print out, complete and give our Referral Form to your patient.
Sometimes it’s hard to make the first step with a phone call. By referring a patient to us, we are able to make the first contact and get people connected to our services and programs, which are offered at no cost to anyone affected by cancer. Save our Patient Referral Rack Card on your computer’s desktop for a quick list of our programs.
If you have any questions or would like to have our rack cards in your office, please contact us at 828-771-0885.
